Isaac Kurtz M.H.Sc., P.Eng.,

Isaac comes to Vivosonic with over 14 years of leadership experience in software and hardware engineering for embedded systems in the medical devices industry. He has successfully developed a wide range of software intensive products and instruments through the entire systems development life cycle.
Most recently, Mr. Kurtz was Manager of Software Engineering at Veracel, Inc. where he led a team of engineers and software professionals in the development of real-time embedded process control and graphical user interface software for automated cytology instruments. Prior to his position at Veracel, he was Manager of Electronics at Bloorview MacMillan Centre where he led the development and commercialization of instrumentation and programmable control systems for the powered prosthetics industry.
Isaac has a Master’s of Health Sciences in Biomedical Engineering and is a Professional Engineer.
Isaac focuses on fast and efficient development of new Vivosonic products, particularly combined DPOAE, TEOAE, ABR, and ASSR functions, and played a key role in the invention of the Amplitrode®. Isaac is also responsible for the protection of Vivosonic intellectual property.
